How to rotate PDF pages
Correct a sideways or upside-down PDF by rotating individual pages or applying one direction to the whole document. Review the page previews, then save a corrected PDF.
How to use the Rotate PDF tool
- Select one PDF. Choose a PDF up to 50 MB from your device.
- Rotate pages. Use the counterclockwise or clockwise arrow beside a page. Use “Rotate all” to apply a direction to every page.
- Name the output. Keep the suggested filename or enter another name.
- Save the PDF. Choose “Rotate and download PDF.” The updated document is created and downloaded in your browser.
- Review the result. The confirmation shows the page count, how many pages were rotated, and the output file size.
How does PDF rotation work?
The tool updates the rotation setting on the selected PDF pages. Text, images, and vector content are not flattened into page screenshots. Rotation adjustments are applied to the original page orientation.
Important limitations
Password-protected, damaged, or unsupported PDFs may not open. Editing a digitally signed PDF changes the document and can invalidate its signatures. Keep the original PDF and inspect the downloaded result before sharing it.
Privacy and file security
Your selected PDF is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to PDFArmy. The PDF preview and editing libraries load from third-party CDNs, so an internet connection is needed to load them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Use the rotation buttons beside the page you want to change. Other pages keep their current orientation unless you rotate them too.
Can I rotate every page at once?
Yes. Choose “Rotate all” and select a direction. You can apply more than one turn or make further changes to individual pages before saving.
Does rotating a page reduce its quality?
No. The tool changes the page rotation setting and does not convert the page into an image.
Will my digitally signed PDF stay valid?
Editing a signed PDF can invalidate its digital signature. Keep an untouched copy of the signed original.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Your PDF is processed in your browser and is not sent to PDFArmy. The required libraries are loaded from third-party CDNs.
