How to use the PDF to PowerPoint tool

  1. Select a PDF. Choose one PDF file up to 50 MB.
  2. Choose pages. Leave the page field blank for all pages, or enter numbers and ranges such as 1, 3-5. Up to 50 slides can be created per run.
  3. Choose image quality. Standard is suitable for most documents. High creates larger images and uses more memory.

What the PowerPoint file contains

Every slide contains an image of a PDF page. The text and shapes are not editable separately in PowerPoint, and text cannot be searched in the slide image. The slide proportions follow the first selected PDF page; pages with a different shape are fitted inside the slide.

Image quality and file limits

Higher image quality can make small text clearer, but it increases memory use and the PPTX file size. This tool creates up to 50 slides per run. Large or unusually sized pages may require more device memory.

Privacy and file security

Your PDF is rendered and converted in your browser. It is not uploaded to PDFArmy. PDF.js and PptxGenJS load from third-party CDNs, so an internet connection is needed to load the libraries.

Can I edit text from the PDF in PowerPoint?

No. Each slide is an image of a PDF page. Text and shapes are not separate editable PowerPoint objects.
